Director
In 2018, he received the Rigoberta Menchú Award at the 28th Présence Autochtone Montreal Festival, Canada, for the film Ara Pyau - Primavera Guaraní. The series Sou Moderno, Sou Índio won the Jury Prize in the Jallalla Category at the 16th Arica Festival, Chile, 2021, and the award for best series at the 10th Latino and Native American Film Festival, Connecticut, USA, 2022. He advises on projects in Brazil and Latin America and is a founding partner of Laranjeiras Produções.

Graduated from the São Paulo Film School. Director of photography for the series "Sou Moderno Sou Índio" and the feature film "Ara Pyau - Primavera Guarani". Director of photography for the short film "Javyju - bom dia" and winner of the award for best cinematography at the 18th Curta Taquary. Works as director of the portal midiaindigena.

Graduated in social sciences. Film producer and technician. Pioneer in Brazilian digital cinema. Works in the market with DIT BRASIL.

He attended the film school of the SP CINE project. He did sound recordings for the series, Sou moderno Sou Índio, Afronta and Racionais, Das Ruas de São Paulo pro o Mundo. He also did sound for the short film Javyju bom dia, 2024.

Journalist, curator, screenwriter, and producer. Creator of the Originárias podcast, the first podcast featuring Indigenous artists and musicians in Brazil. Co-founder of Rádio Yandê. Contributor to Visibilidade Indígena and Dubdem. Screenwriter for the series Sou Moderno Sou Índio. Screenwriter and core consultant for Rede Globo. Ancestral voices.

Laranjeiras begins its film production with the movie: A Caminho da Estrela (On the Way to the Star), which premiered at the Rio de Janeiro Ethnographic Festival in 2011.
The short films The Spin of the Divine and 120 Strings will premiere in 2012.
In 2012, Palavra Cantada premiered in 3D in 42 Cinemark theaters.
From 2013 to 2016, director Carlos Eduardo Magalhães worked as screenwriter and producer on the feature films 20 Centavos, Entre os Homens de Bem, and Escolas em Luta. These documentaries received several national and international awards.
In 2018, the feature film Ara Pyau - Primavera Guarani premiered at the Tiradentes Film Festival and received the Rigoberta Menchú Award for Best Film at the 28th Présence Autochtone Festival in Montreal, Canada.
In 2019, the Bolivia/Spain/Brazil co-production La Tonada Del Viento premiered.
In 2021, the series "Sou Moderno Sou Índio" (I Am Modern, I Am Indian), written and directed by Carlos Eduardo Magalhães, premiered on CinebrasilTv. It received the Special Jury Prize for the Jallalla Category at the 16th Arica Nativa Film Festival, Chile, 2021, and the Best Series Award at the 10th Latino and Native American Film Festival, Connecticut, USA, 2022.
In 2022, two short films were produced for the Indigenas.BR festival: Elas as mulheres Krikati (They are the Krikati women) and Nós os Kaa'por (We are the Kaa'por).
